IETF 116 Registration Fee Waivers
We understand that not everyone can afford the IETF meeting remote registration fee for a variety of reasons, including issues with income, employment status and employer support, and we do not want any of these to be a barrier to participation.
Remote Participation Fee Waivers
We make an unlimited number of fee waivers available to remote participants and we do not ask you to explain why you are taking the fee waiver option or make any check on eligibility as we operate on a trust basis. Please do not use this form if you can afford the fee - this is not intended for guest speakers, observers or others who may feel they should not have to pay.
The information you provide will be confidential and will only be used for the purpose of allocating fee waivers. Please note that it can take up to 2 days to receive your fee waiver.
Onsite Participation Fee Waivers
There are a limited number of fee waivers available for onsite participants, at the discretion of the IETF Chair. To request a fee waiver for onsite registration, please contact support@ietf.org and please include information to explain why you require an onsite fee waiver.
